OIL -  In use since the Greek, Roman and even Egyptian ages, oil paint has undergone a series of developments to derive the combination of rich color pigment and permanence of today's medium. It is often preferred over acrylic for its rich hues, ability to blend and slow drying properties that allow a work to evolve over time.
